Many authors have author Facebook pages, personal Facebook pages, but this morning I was invited to “like” a “Book Page.” Maybe it’s customary and I’m just not with it, but I hadn’t yet seen a Book Page for one specific book. Seems like a great idea because you can streamline information, updates, and chatting just about one specific book. I like the idea.
So…since I just launched my novel, Crooked Lines, I made a sweet Facebook page for it, called Crooked Lines, A Novel.
What do you think? https://www.facebook.com/NovelCrookedLines
If you like it, “like” it! Please.
If you’re an author, do you have a Book Page for each book?

I’m not planning to do a separate page for each book–although I have a friend who does and I know it’s one way she keeps her name/books in front of people. I don’t relish the idea of building up a following for each book, but I can see it in cases like yours where you’ll have fiction and non-fiction out there at the same time! All the best to you Holly!

Thanks Brandy. I’ll see how it goes. With facebook ads, it seems a good way to also promote your book, but I’m note sure how that will work. Trying a few marketing ideas.

I have a book page! http://www.facebook.com/missmabels
I love it because I get to interact directly with fans who have “liked” it. They’re really quick to respond to news and updates there as well, faster than on my author page most days. It’s a great way to communicate with them.
I’m on my way to like yours now!
